Occupational Therapist

Amy is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 22 years of expertise in neurology, acquired brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, orthopedics, elderly care, and end-of-life support. She has worked extensively within both acute and community settings, leading multi-disciplinary teams and developing specialist rehabilitation programs.

Amy specializes in functional rehabilitation, cognitive assessments, seating and postural assessments, pain and fatigue management, and manual handling training. She has a strong background in hospital discharge planning, environmental adaptations, and workplace assessments, ensuring individuals regain independence and achieve their full potential.

Currently working as an Independent Occupational Therapist, Amy provides comprehensive assessments, rehabilitation programs, and expert recommendations for individuals with complex conditions. She also mentors fellow occupational therapists and collaborates with organizations such as the Royal British Legion, SSAFA, and RAF charities to support rehabilitation initiatives.

Amy is a manual handling key trainer, delivering specialist training to healthcare staff. She has held leadership roles in NHS trusts, overseeing therapy services, managing complex caseloads, and enhancing clinical practices.
