Occupational Therapist

Dawn is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, specialising in paediatrics, sensory integration, mental health, rehabilitation, and complex needs. With a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of the West of England, she has developed a diverse skill set through her work in acute, community, and educational settings.

Currently working as an Independent Occupational Therapist, Dawn provides comprehensive assessments and therapy interventions for children and adults in their homes, schools, and nurseries. She has extensive expertise in sensory processing, primitive reflexes, therapeutic listening, and functional rehabilitation, helping individuals achieve their full potential.

Her previous roles include working within the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and Cornwall Foundation Trust, supporting children and young people with autism, Down’s Syndrome, dyspraxia, handwriting difficulties, postural needs, and emotional regulation. She also has experience in adult mental health, CAMHS, and integrated rehabilitation.

Dawn is committed to professional development and has undertaken postgraduate training in Sensory Integration (ASI WISE) and The Listening Program (TLP). With a holistic and person-centred approach, she tailors each session to the individual’s needs, ensuring effective and meaningful therapy.
