Dawn @ Waves OT has recently done an OT assessment both at school & at home on our son who is autistic and struggling in many areas! Fab communication, approachable and nothing was too much trouble! We’ve now got a very thorough assessment from Dawn for him which will help him & us going ahead and opened my eyes to things we hadn’t thought of! She’s really lovely and our son felt at ease with her, as did we. Highly recommend and will be recommending her to anyone that asks for suggestions on an occupational therapist!

Dawn Berryman at Waves OT recently completed an OT assessment for my teenage son, to support him receiving OT services and accommodations via his EHCP. She was very kind and gentle with my son during the assessment process, and her subsequent report was detailed and comprehensive, which was exactly what we needed to get the OT support in place for my son. The Local Authority has now agreed these services and I’m very grateful to Dawn for her support in this regard. We hope to keep working with Dawn for the foreseeable future. She was a star!

I can’t recommend Waves Occupational Therapy highly enough, after years of trying to get my son an assessment on the NHS and being ignored and being passed around. I came across Waves and from start to finish it was easy, professional, friendly.
My son suffers with severe Anxiety and has Autism so really struggles meeting new people but Dawn put us both at ease from the moment we walked in.
I learned so much at the assessment and had many questions answered that I didn’t expect to get.
Dawn let us know about the process and the time frames involved with the assessment and diagnosis, Dawn rushed my sons review through as he is about to sit his GCSE’S, I couldn’t believe how quick we got the report and recommendations.
I will be recommending Waves Occupational Therapy to everyone.
